Gus Fring was the first major "bad guy" of Breaking Bad. He used the cover-up of being a fast food chain owner to be a drug lord more discreetly. Fring quickly caught interest in Walter White after seeing the Quality of "Blue Sky." Of course White accepted his offer because there was a large sum of money in it for him. Very quickly, Walter became a slave to Fring. He was threatening to kill all of Walter's family, and actually killed people in front of Walter and Jesse (including children). Walter and Jesse grew tired of cooking for a murderous psychopath, so they knew they had to do something about it. They devised plan after plan to silently take him out, but it wasn't working. They knew they'd have to do it loudly. They strapped a bomb to a wheelchair of someone Fring often visits at a mental home. This became a very exciting, intense scene that exemplifies the effects of the hard drug business.
